What a great time we had at the Decaturville Mainstreet Festival BBQ
Cookoff last night thru today! Bro. Gray and myself had a wonderful
time of fellowship throughout the night and today as well. We were
blessed with beautiful weather to cook in. We were also blessed to
take home first place in the Brisket, Pulled Pork, and Ribs categories
as well as second place in the chicken category! Also we were blessed
to take home first place overall for the entire Cookoff! A special
shout out to our new friend Mr. Byron Skelton who is the Chief of
Police in Clifton Tn! He was an awesome help to us as we plated our
meats to turn in to the judges! He is a fellow BBQ enthusiast also. To
God be all the glory for the great time of fellowship we had while
cooking and the new friends we made along the way!!
Wow, when God does something he does it big. Congratulations brothers!!!! So sorry the wright family was not present to share in this time of fellowship and reaching out to the community. We did keep this out reach effort in our prayers throughout the week and during the time that this was going on. The material fruit is great but I know it is the souls we are after. We pray that a heart was ministered to and that we see the fruit of all that was given to reach out (in God time).
